Copperhead Acoustic Treatment was founded by Chris Castro — a Texas musician, sound engineer, and builder with a lifelong connection to music and sound.

Chris grew up singing and playing music in church and has spent more than two decades performing live and working in recording environments. Through years of studio work and sound engineering, he developed a deep understanding of how much a room’s acoustics can impact clarity, creativity, and the overall listening experience.

At the same time, Chris built a career in construction and project management, gaining over a decade of hands-on experience designing and building everything from small projects to large-scale builds.

Copperhead Acoustic Treatment was created to bring those two worlds together — the science of sound and the craftsmanship of building.

Today, Chris designs and builds custom acoustic treatment solutions for recording studios, podcast rooms, offices, churches, and creative spaces. Every project is built with the goal of improving clarity, reducing echo, and creating environments that sound as good as they look.

Because Chris is both a sound engineer and a builder, Copperhead approaches acoustic treatment from a practical perspective — combining real-world audio knowledge with durable, professionally built solutions.
